Flower Bucket Giveaway!

It's giveaway time!  I received a small sampling of my "Flower Bucket" collection in the mail this week and couldn't wait to share some with you guys!  The line is set to ship to stores across the country in just a couple weeks, but now is your chance to have some in your hot little hands before anyone else!  There are about 10 fat quarters in the stack and I'm throwing in a matching ring too...

So to enter all you have to do is leave a comment stating one goal you would like to achieve by this time next year.  It could be a big one like "I want to take a cross-country road trip this Spring to celebrate my 30th birthday" (yeah, I really do), or it could be a small one like "I would like to finish the 10 loads of laundry I have piled up by Saturday" (yeah, gotta do that too...).  Big goal, small goal, doesn't matter.  You see, a little over a year ago I left a steady Art Director/Product Design job that from an outsiders perspective probably looked pretty great.  But I wasn't happy.  So I left.  And then I decided I wanted to do something for myself and I wanted to design a fabric collection.  So I put that goal out there and worked my little butt off until I got a deal that is now called "Flower Bucket."  So whatever your goal is- GO FOR IT- you can make it happen!

Comments will be accepted until Wednesday, September 30th and a random winner will be drawn October 1st...

*****IMPORTANT UPDATE*****

Not sure what is up with Blogger (or maybe it's my blogging skillz), but there has been a comment or two that has disappeared into thin air after I hit "publish."  So if you don't see your comment show up within a day or two please let me know and I will be sure you get added to the drawing.  Just didn't want anyone to think I was ignoring them... and I must say I am really touched by all of the comments so far- YOU guys inspire ME!  Thank you :)

Hi Genevieve,

My goal is to become a full-time crafty entrepreneur by next year. I've been in business a month and things are looking positive. Thanks for offering this giveaway. :) Theresa

how exciting to have it finally shipping out!

thanks for sharing a bit of your story. I had no idea but I love it when women are encouraging to other women to go for it and share a bit of how life doesn't always go as planned. Sometimes we take a "risk".

one of my goals is to have at least 3 more patterns released by this time next year! :)

I have tons of goals for next year but most are for the house. The one goal that is important to me and my healthy is to lose enough weight that I am no longer dependent on a CPAP machine!

I'd like to get my Etsy shop opened soon! It's been hard finding time to get everything together since I just went back to school to start my Masters. Trying to find the time to sew and get organized has been very difficult, but I definitely want to make it happen.

Your collection looks great, and I would in heaven to own some (especially if it could help me getting moving on that whole sewing things for the shop thing). Congratulations!

To have a new job (preferably one with a little more independence requiring some level of creativity).

Your line is so pretty and fun, I love it every time I see it!

One short-term goal of mine is to finish sewing the backpacks I promised by girls before Thanksgiving and write up the directions for a pattern.

Congrats on both of your new collections...they are so lovely!! Please enter me in the drawing for a chance to win that flower bucket bundle!

Goals. Can I share two? One is to finish decluttering my home (and garage...that's where I am moving all the clutter from the house!lol). We moved to Texas a year ago and discovered there are no basements in Texas (atleast not here in South Texas!) Aack. This has been a blessing in disquise though and has forced us to let go of the things we really don't need/use anymore and to display and use all the lovely things we love! The process has turned into a great lesson for all us, especially the kids!

The other one I will share, only because my friends are encouraging me to put my wishes out in to the universe...I will say I plan to submit a book proposal. I figured, even if it does not get picked up by a publisher, I can always try self publishing, right!

Thanks for sharing your story with us. And I am looking forward to meeting you in person in 2 weeks!!

Hugs,
Sheree

My goal (I like to work in short term, long term goals make me anxious) is to finish making a doll for my friend's birthday, and to complete my largest piece of embroidery to date by Sunday.

Those fabrics look delicious! I can already imagine some lovely projects for them!

My goal is to have a good job since I am currently laid off. I would love to be able to make jewerly for a living, but no matter how I try to calculate it, I don't see how I can make enough to live on. I don't know how some people are able to do it! Thanks for the giveaway, and congrats on achieving your goals! Thanks for the inspiration and giveaway!!

I can really identify with what you're saying. I'm in well paid but very stressful job that I hate. All I think about day and night is pattern, colors, designs and fabric. I am currently working on my portfolio of textile designs and so here is my goal: to submit my designs to companies by the end of the year and by next year this time? I would love to have a licensing contract and be able to do that full time and be true to myself. Your story is such an inspiration to me!

Congratulations Genevieve! I am loving the colors in your new line as well.
My goal is sort of random but after having our 4th child last week and still teaching art full time, I want to always make time for myself to do the things that I love...sewing, painting, re-fashioning, etc...it is good for my soal and keeps me sane. Thanks for the give away fun and making me think about what I want for myself and not everyone else!

What a great giveaway and a lovely line of fabric! My goal for this time next year is to be self-sufficient. I am recently separated from my husband and living with my mother because financially and emotionally I am not ready to be on my own. Hopefully by this time next year I will be there! Thanks for the chance at winning.

A couple goals for by this time next year I'd like to be friends with my serger, and know where we want to live in retirement. How exciting to have your own fabric line!

This is great because I don't give myself goals. I have been a stay at home mom to 3 children for the past 5 years. Needless to say, it hasn't been about me and my goals. I had to really think about this one. Ok, my goal for this time next year is to turn the office into a sewing/craft room. It has to be inspirational and can NOT have any toys....unless it's an inspirational toy ;)

My goal for this year is to make some of the patterns that I seem to have accumulated. I'm sure such beautiful fabric would have me inspired!!

Think your new fabric is just beautiful and would love to win the giveaway. My goal for this time next year is to have professional shots of my children's boutique clothing on actual models! I had some taken this summer on mannequins but would love some "action" shots. Enjoy quilt market! Wish I was going.
